Enrolling Utility Accounts in Automated Bill Management Service

This document outlines utility account enrollment in JadeTrack’s Automated Utility Bill Management Service. Information intentionally stated in a very general way. The service provides a hands-off approach to managing utility bills. In order to enroll, JadeTrack needs utility accounts to be enrolled for online access (i.e. eBill / Online Billing / Paperless Billing). The service utilizes customer login credentials for each utility portal to access monthly bills, extract available data, and import data to JadeTrack.

Below is a list of information JadeTrack requires for enrollment:

Accounts with Online Access

  • Account ID and Password, including any Security Questions & Answers required to login

  • Account Number

  • Account Service Address

  • Customer Preferred Naming Conventions (Account and Facility)

Accounts with Online Access - Setup Required

To setup online access, the following information is typically required:

  • Utility Account Number

  • Federal Tax ID, TIN, etc. associated with account

  • Last 4 SSN, or 4 digit pin associated with account

  • Service Address associated with account

Enrollment Process

  1. JadeTrack provides customer with Account Enrollment spreadsheet

  2. Customer provides login and password information for accounts

  3. JadeTrack begins enrollment by validating account eligibility (3 categories)

    1. Category 1 - Service is available and active

    2. Category 2 - Service is available but not yet active, please allow up to 5 weeks

    3. Category 3 - Service is not available

  4. Historical data, if any, synchronized with JadeTrack and validated for accuracy

  5. Data is available in the JadeTrack portal, new bills will appear automagically
