3 Steps for Getting Started

In this guide, we will provide information about what to expect as you get started working with us.

This includes what documents we need from you, how to work with your new program manager and the best practices that help our clients succeed.

We look forward to working with you to create a lasting financial, social and environmental impact.

What should I expect to happen?

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Authorize access to utility data

  2. Share information with ENERGY STAR

  3. Get to work

Authorize access by completing Letter of Authorization (LOA) for Utilities

The letter of authorization gives JadeTrack permission to obtain information about your organization’s historical and ongoing energy usage.

This allows us to evaluate energy usage patterns and provide assistance with energy efficiency programs by working directly with your utilities.

Download the Letter of Authorization (docx, pdf)
Send a completed copy to programs@jadetrack.com

Some utilities require specific letter of authorization requirements. We will do our best to eliminate as much as paperwork as possible. We have a repository of https://jadetrack.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HC/pages/822214694 from various utilities.

Share information by setting up and sharing properties in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager®

If you don't already have properties in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, you will need to enter your property details into our Property Details Form.

How we work together

Your program manager will serve as your primary point of contact. This includes account setup and all program-related support moving forward.By keeping your program manager regularly informed on your key initiatives, priorities and goals they can better assist you.

As an important resource for your team, we believe it is best to build a strong working relationship together.
After all of your account information is received, we'll schedule an introductory call for you and your program manager.

Here are a few points we'll go over on your intro call:

  • Review of all account information received

  • Set project timeline for onboarding and program start

  • Establish program goals and expectations

  • Answer any questions or concerns
